TI-IE MENTGRS Men.tor Qmen'terj: 1. a close, trusted, and experienced counsel- or. 2. a teacher 3. an educator 4. a leader 5. babysitter 6. a com- mander 7. a drill sergeant 8. an overseer. It is hard to imagine that one word can encompass each per- son from vvhom we learn, but mentor is such a word. Although it may take to the sixth, seventh, or even eighth definition of the vvord, one of them definitely de- scribes every teacher at Lebanon High School. '+?....,, W 3..Aa!....-M. Apu! De- pending on the class or the mood of the mentor, he or she can ful- fill definition 1, one minute and definition 7, the next. Whichever definition best fits the mentors of LHS, one thing is certain, these people are very in- terested in educating us and see- ing that we are properly pre- pared for whatever we intend to do with our lives.
