Spangler who is even more deserving of this honor than we can express in words. For his under- standing of young people and his loyalty to Lebanon High School. for his untiring efforts to build character and foster high ideals in students who have passed through this school, he will long be remembered. A graduate of Lebanon High School himself. where he played varsity football, he furthered his education at the University of Michigan. He began his teaching career at Lebanon High School in 1924. Among his innumerable activities, he started many of the major sports, including golf, cross country, and intramural gym teams, all of which are vigorous today. He has also been coach of baseball. basketball, and track, as well as assistant football coach. To you. Mr. Spangler, we want to express our gratitude for your unfailing patience and sense of humor and your personal guidance during our days in L.H.S.
