' ' Q Q ', Q Q' I I We, the Lodestone Staff of 1954, are happy to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Warren W. Spangler who is even more deserving of this honor than we can express in words. For his under- standing of young people and his loyalty to Lebanon High School. for his untiring efforts to build character and foster high ideals in students who have passed through this school, he will long be remembered. A graduate of Lebanon High School himself. where he played varsity football, he furthered his education at the University of Michigan. He began his teaching career at Lebanon High School in 1924. Among his innumerable activities, he started many of the major sports, including golf, cross country, and intramural gym teams, all of which are vigorous today. He has also been coach of baseball. basketball, and track, as well as assistant football coach. To you. Mr. Spangler, we want to express our gratitude for your unfailing patience and sense of humor and your personal guidance during our days in L.H.S. 1441111 Wyf fu OID ILBANON HIGH 1111 H111'1Il21r:, 111111111 1111 1 11811 Here s to our dt tr old Lthtnon H1 h Here s to her red md blue Here Q to her representutlyes Her v1l1 mt Qons so true Here sto the proud old H10 she H165 Red 'ind blue yylth L H S All of our to ISIS and not to boast Are for Lebmon Hlvh 5 success Once more yye dr1nk that feuthful toast To dear old Lehdnon Htgh Avam her Sons yy1ll yym the day hNl'1llC yye cheer to the sky When once we letve th it dur old school We surely 1 mt forget That L H S her red and blue Are ftlyyftys yyxth us yet Oh deftr old Hwh Old Lebwnon Hwh The school we crm t forvet Those student dlys m Lehinon H1 h Around fthout us yet Old Lebemon Hwh her red ind blue All throuvh the In my yeirs That Cup of youth so Good so true Vllll l1l our tyey yylth It N Thit cup of youth so wood so true VN 1ll hll our eyes yylth tt. 1ry If , , l y, .H ' . . -LJ.' . rl. fl!
