Club has enjoyed another busy year. Wolcott students are fortunate to have as their Winter Program guest Moses Mukiibi from Uganda. A successful banquet was held to honor Moses. Absent- Sharon Crane, Amy Conklin-Vice President. The Future Nurses Club is a service organization of students interested in a health career. Events this year include volunteer work at Newark State School, the annual Christmas party at a nursing home, col- lection of glasses for a New Eyes for the Needy program, and participation in a Red Cross Nursing Course. In addition, members have worked in the nurse's.office. Field trips have included a visit to the Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse, New York. This year the Wolcott Future Nurses Club hosts the county Rally.

The Student Council has been very active this year. Record hops have been held and a Computer Dance is being planned in collaboration with the North Rose Student Council for sometime in April or May. A Talent Show is being written by an imaginative group and will take place in April. Debate assemblies are anticipated in early spring. Row 3-David Bieth, Terry Sears, Elisabeth Coman-Treasurer, James Hoople, Mr. Payne-Advisor. Row 4-Gary Galek, Ronald Crane, George Fowler, Michael Bentley-Vice President. Clara Cotten-Secretary. No honor conferred by the school excels that of membership in the National Honor Society. Selection is de- pendent on above average scholarship, service, leadership and character, As projects for the year, members continued operation of the paperback bookstore and also continued the system by which awards are given to deserving non-members of the Society for scholastic achievement.

Moses Mukiibi - A.F.9. Student Moses Mukiibi, one of fourteen children, was born in Masaka in Uganda on july 14, 1949. His father is a teacher of religion and Luganda, the Ugandan languageg his mother is a housewife. After one more year of study at Kololo Senior Secondary School, Moses plans to attend college. English and the sciences are his favorite subjects, and soccer, tennis and golf his favorite sports. Here in the heart of the apple country he has developed a liking for apples, a fruit he had never before eaten. Moses' friendliness and good humor have made him a fav- orite with everyone. Knowing Moses this year has been a real privilege for students at Leav- enworth Central School.
