Reed Adrimr-Mrs. Barbara Twentyfive Each Tuesday and Thursday night from 2:30 to 3:30, the L.C.S. gym is filled with girls eager to parti- cipate in an intramural program of sports including such activities as softball, basketball, soccer, field hockey and tumbling. This program is open to any interested girl in the high school department. The Girls' Athletic Association captured two tournament trophies in round-robin competition this year. One was for field hockey, the other for soccer. The G.A.A, is under advisorship of Mrs. Barbara Twentyfive, girls physical education director. At the end of each year girls are given awards according to accumulation of points for participation in playdays, sportsdays, and regular intramural competition.

Zswzis Umm Though the Wolcott Tennis Team, led by Coach Clinton Wash- burn, did not win a match all season, it was blessed with an ex- ceptional star, Russell Rolls. The team finished second in the county, its only two defeats coming from Wayne Central. At the county meet at Williamson, two Wolcott run- ners finished in the top five. At the cross-country regionals held in Rochester, Wolcott finished num- ber six out of the eighteen teams competing.

Qsmackj Barb Galek spared the cat and spoiled the car. Tom Galvin collected only one speeding ticket a night. Bonnie Green lost her car. Ricky Householder was Wolcott's first Beatle. Andy Kifer stopped beating them and began chasing them. Fred lbbs wrote a letter home to his eighth grade class. Wayne Johnson had to leave the country. Dick Katz took his driving test with the emergency brake on. Sharon Kersten wasn't a ballet dancer. Sharon King was locked in the trunk of the Driver Ed. car by . . . Lloyd Larkin didn't go to Oswego every chance he got. Harriet Lipshitz loved to be called i'Cookie. Steve Mason wasn't Mrs. Searle's favorite student.
