SPDHTS Participation in sports provides students additional opportunities for the devetopment of coordination, Fitness, and individual recognition. Miss J. Greenberg, Mr. R. Deeter, and Mr. D. Jess are the Physical Education instructors and coaches. Mr, M. Mellion, Basketball coach. Membership in the Florida High School Activities Association and Gulfstream Athletic Conference, Class A, further the interest and enthusiasm in a competitive sports program. Intramural sports offered are Volleyball, Girl's and Boy's Basketball, Soccer, Softball, and Baseball. ficnwnsss HALLOWE'EN One special day each year, the children give a cheer. The time has come to have some fun, for Hailowe'en is here. Witches, phantoms, ghosts abound, even monsters can be found Trick or treating down the street, for some a very special sweet. A pumpkin's face with a Flickering eye, looks at you as you pass by. Black cats, witche's brooms, bones shaking in costumes. Rotting teeth, tummy pain, all the weight that you gain. Tired feet trot 011C to bed, to dream of goblins in their head. To give those we love an emotional lift. My Father and Mother I love very much, They are two favorite people I wish to honor as such, So I send them a note and a Valentineis heart, And then Ifeel I've done my part.
