EXEC TIVE OFFICER Lieutenant Commander William Keith Baker, USN, was born in Rome, C-A 13 june 1956. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University in Macon, GA in 1978. Following commissioning at Aviation Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, FL, he was assigned to VT-3 at NAS Whiting Field, FL and later to VT-31 at NAS Corpus Christi, TX. After leaving aviation, LCDR Baker served as B Division Officer in USS SARATOGA KCV 6,01 from April 1980 through September 1980. LCDR Baker completed the Surface Warfare Division Officer Course in Coronado, CA in March 1981 and served as Commissioning Elec- trical Officer in USS CHANDLER KDDG 9967. LCDR Baker subse- quently served as Combat Information Center Officer and once again as Electrical Officer. LCDR Baker served as an instructor at Surface Warfare Officers School, Coronado, CA from july 1985 until October 1987. ln May 1988, LCDR Baker graduated with distinction from the Surface Warfare Department Head course in Newport, RI. He served as Operations Officer and Senior Watch Officer in USS SOUTH CAROLINA KCGN 375 from August 1988 until january 1991. He re- ported aboard the USS LEAHY May 1991. LCDR Baker is married to the former Marilyn Siegel of Rome, GA. They have two daughters, Charlotte and jennifer. LCDR William Keith Baker

EXECUTI E OFFICER Commander David Selecman is from Central Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University in 1976 and re- ceived his commission through the NROTC Program. He has served at sea as Damage Control assistant aboard USS RICHARD S. EDWARDS CDD-950l, Ship Control Of- ficer in USS CURTIS IFFCI-387 and Operations Officer on- board USS CRIDLEY CCG-2'll. Shore assignments include Fleet Training Group, San Diego and the Staff of Naval Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island. CDR Selecman served as Executive Officer aboard USS LEAHY from December 1989 and was relieved May 91. CDR Selecman is married to the former Diane Macone of Melrose, Massachusetts. COMMAND MASTER CHIEF YNCM CSWD Manuel Rodriguez Master Chief Rodriguez, a Detroit, Michigan native, enlisted in the Navy in 1971. After Re- cruit Training he served aboard the amphibious command ship USS POCONO CLCC 161, fol- lowed by a brief tour of the Naval Air Mainten- ance Training Detachment, Naval Air Station, Norfolk, VA. Later assignments included Staff, Commander in Chief Atlantic, Staff, Com- mander Amphibious Group Twog Staff, Su- preme Allied Commander, Atlantic, and Edu- cational Services Officer, USS BELLEAU WOOD QLHA 35. He has also attended the Senior Enlist- ed Academy. Before reporting to USS LEAHY, Master Chief Rodriguez was assigned as Military Secre- tary for the Strategic Plans and Policy Director- ate, joint Chiefs of Staff.
