CUIVIIVIAND NG OF IC R CAPT G. D. ANDERSON, USN A graduate of Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island, he was commissioned as an Ensign in May 1961. He has served at sea in USS WINDHAM COUNTY CLST-1 1707, USS NOTABLECMSO-4601, USS OLENNON CDD-8403, USS GEORGE K. MacKENZIE QDD-8361, USS SOMERS QDDG-345, and commanded USS JOHN PAUL JONES CDDG-327. Captain Anderson also served afloat on the staff of Commander, Battle Force Seventh Fleet CCTF 703. He has attended U.S. Naval Destroyer School, the U.S. Naval War CoIlege's Command and Staff course and Naval Warfare course and has had tours of duty at the U.S. Naval Academy and on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations. Captain Anderson is married to the former Karen Ann Judge of Boone, lovva. They have five children: David, Kate, Judy, Joe, and Jessica.

EXECUTIVE 0 FIC R LCDR R. M. Santos, USN LCDR Santos entered the U.S. Naval Academy from the state of Connecticut, graduating with a degree in Operations Analysis in June 1974. After graduation, he reported to USS SOMERS CDDG-345 where he served as Gunnery Assistantllvlissile Officer, First Lieutenant and finally ASW Officer. After his first sea tour, LCDR Santos attended the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, in the Weapons Systems Curriculum. Upon completing his Masters degree in physics, LCDR Santos reported to the Surface Warfare Department Head course in Newport, Rhode Island. LCDR Santos later served as Combat Systems Officer onboard USS FLETCHER CDD-9925 and as Weapons Officer onboard USS STERETT QCG-31l. He reported as Executive Officer USS LEAHY in August 1986. LCDR Santos is married to the former Barbara Jeffries of Adelaide, South Australia. They have a daughter, Carolyn Jane and live in Chula Vista, California.
