Kurt Blackburn, CTR2 Ernie Wright and CTR2 Ke- vin fMickeyJ Quinn. 1, CTR3 Tom Norris tells CTO3 Dan Guatardo, Listen Dan, I want your sister's address! Where's Hawley? .I did it CT DIVI ION It all started in Yokosuka, Japan when someone ab- ruptly dropped a large gray box known as QUIC VAN ONE on LEAHY's O3 level, bolted it to the deck, wired it up and gleefully remarked, It's all yours. This strange event was followed by the embarkation of six sinister looking characters of the CT rating, known af- fectionately in the Fleet as Spooks. Seeking the dar- kest corners of the ship, and sometimes the van, they rode in traditional silence with us to Subic Bay. There, six more of their comrades came aboard, led by a shifty-looking officer skilled in the art of double- talk. When finally asked Why are you here? he gave a sly grin and replied That's for me to know and you to find out. So it was the LEAHY's CT Division was formed. Seriously, the CT Division was assigned to LEAHY during the Indian OceanfPersian Gulf deployment. Hailing from various duty stations in the orient, and assigned to the Operations Department while aboard, 28 the CTS provided us with a service that improved our tactical operating ability and aided in making the IO and PG more succesful and rewarding.
