Slouch Day Ill be glad when tomorrow comes was the thought 1n the minds of the L H S seniors the day before the annual Slouch Day program and in the minds of all the merchants and citizens of our fair city on April 16 when Slouch Dav was held The Seniors dressed in about ex ery costume imaginable put on their program for the under-classmen and friends intthe auditorium. This pro- gram consisted of songs history re fiews murder mysteries a brief peek into a subbie class. a typical class at L. H. S. and the burial of the faculty. After the program the upper-classmen paraded down the avenue and through the main business houses of town taking things under their control. In the evening the slouchers attended the show. At the show the stage was turned ox er to them and each class member was introduced by the mistress of ceremonies. Jessie Jeanne McMurrough. Then the class formed a conga line on the stage. Gee Bill you cant say were not helping you out. Garnet Clark leaves her ability to go home in cars every night to the Sub- bies, Heres hoping you kids will have cars. Patty Crosley leaves her vs ays to make so manv friends in such a short time to Bob Wilson. More power to you Bob. Katheryn Crowell leaves her even disposition to Albert Zack. Now Al. your life vson't have so many pugil- istic encounters. Opal Darnall leaxes her willingness to co-operate to all Subfreshmen. Why dont you take a note of this Subbies. Evelyn Faidiga Wills all her nice presents which were received from Johnny to Nancv Whitman Well any wav Evelyn didnt brag about the things she didn t get Jack Fox leaves his tame ways to Bob Maich It works a lot better than your method Bob if you get what we mean Margaret Gallagher leaves her nice pleasant ways to the Freshmen After all you have a few years to grow before vou can run the world Freshies Mary Geary leaves her ability to get home earlv to Josephine Knicely After years of practice you may acquire the art. Josephine. Margaret Habovstak leaves her dancing ability to Mary Catherine Car- ter. More fun, Mary Catherine. Robert Hennesy leaves his ability to ski to the L. H. S. Ski Club in order that it vxill bring them fame. Frank Hren leaves his unassuming manner to Francis Connors. Who knows what improvements it will make. Margaret Jakopic wills her ability to play baseball to Luella Riedel. Please. Luella dont make such a clown of yourself. Dixie Jones leaves her perfect at- tendance in school to Jeanette Parlin.
