Al- though Lexie is a teenager, her mother has told her producer, in an effort to reduce her own age, that Lexie is really only a child. Other members of the cast were Charles Plummer as Allan Talbot, a sensitive young man of nineteen, Sha- ron Hall and Carol Korselman as Ju- dith and Jesse Bickle, his maiden aunts. Susan Grant, a confused young woman of twenty, was played by Pat Weidauer. Her parents, Marian and Steven Grant, were portrayed by Judy Schelin and Bruce Bedell. Susan Grant's fiance, George Yost, was characterized by Jim Nicholson. Jim Golden took the part of an under- privileged teenager, Joe Keating. Evan Hoorneman was chosen to play Sena- tor James Knox Polk. Two high school seniors, Nancy Ev- eretts and Barbara Logan, were por- trayed by Karen Kruwell and Ann Moir. Norma Kehrberg characterized Hulda, the Marshall's inefficient housekeep- er. A Man Called Peter was adapted from a book written by Mrs. Cather- ine Marshall.
