Those eligible for the honor roll ani receiving Silver L's the first semester were: Bill Campbell Mathilda Martell Carol Landels Donna Gillette Dick Castile Bill Morgan Eugene Jones Mary L0u McMaster Koleta Metz Anna Bell Snelling Jane Pretzer Henrietta Pritchett Honor requirements for Junior High students are A's in half of their subjects or more, no subject grade lower than B and no merit record below 96. Those eligible the first semes- ter and receiving Silver L's were: Dana Hail Janet Mitchell Henry Lancaster GAA Those who received their GAA letters were: Sherry Kahl, Thopdis Johansen, Dorothy McFaster,Iva Bran- don, Oneta DeBusk. Sweaters and letters are receiv- ed by girls having a certain number of points. Sweaters can be earned by a member who has fifty points. Anyone earning 500 points is eligible for a Block L. Those receiving stars must have 75 points in,addition to a block. Donna Gillette and Velma Lang received stars. Points are earned by attending GAA on Wednesday evenings, holding executive positions, and by partici- pating in school and athletic activi- ties approved by the GAA. lt is directed by Kiss Ruth Buhlese
