With the scientific background of Lawrenceville, Ed has the ' ambition of becoming an aeronautical engineer .... Although he is forbidden to play basketball because of a bad back, he enjoys it very much. Fifth Form basketballers will remember his eliicient refereeing dur- ing scrimmagesl . . . Studies very diligently and is never ranked below the 93 percentile mark .... A daily newspaper is an essential factor in his existence. . . .
