Thanks to Mt. 51 and Mt. 52 you can hear us anywhere you happen to be. The operation and maintenance responsibility for LAWRENCE'S guns fall in the category of G-Division. In reality the division is comprised of two distinctly different ratings. First the GMG's. The gunners are directly responsible for the operation of both gun mounts. They perform all PMS to keep the gun mounts operational and ready to shoot. They are also responsible for all repairs to either mount. Another side of the C-MG's that isn't well known is the maintenance and responsibility of the ship's small arms. All of the cleanliness and issuing of any of the ship's small arms from .45 to M-60 come under GUNNERS . The second half of the division belongs to the l:TG's. The gun mounts may be working, but they do need to know where the target is and that is where the FTG's come in. It is their job to track any targets and plot where the projectile and the target will meet. This is done thanks to the radar and computer. Maintenance, operation and repair of these vital pieces of equipment rests with the PTG's. Matching gun mount to computer, GMG to PTC, results in effective deadly gunfire. WE DELIVER . . .
