Increased education can also be a necessity. That’s why many companies, such as Kennametal Inc., have a plan for sharing educational expenses with employees. It’s called “Reimbursement of Educational Expense,” and the purpose is to help employees equip themselves for advancement and growth as they prepare to take on greater responsibilities. At Kennametal, employees who satisfactorily complete an approved course are reimbursed for tuition charges, registration fees, textbooks, and laboratory fees. The program includes correspondence courses, adult education programs and vocational school programs, as well as regular college credit courses. Tuition reimbursement.
