From these valleys- from these hills- As we look back on our school days, it is easy to reflect that we have climbed many hills and have crossed many valleys. It is easy to remember that at times, when we thought we would never attain our goals, we looked around and found ourselves right on top of that hill. But hills and valleys mean more to us than just life's ups and downs. We of Laurel Valley are uniquely blessed. We look outsideg the hills and valleys sur- round us. We are indeed fortunate to live in their midst. Many of us will eventually leave this area, but we will remember those rolling hills and beautiful val- leys. They will remain forever a part of our lives. The 1978 LAUREL staff hopes that each student can climb every hill and discover a successful view of life from its peak, and that they will experience beauty and serenity in each valley they cross.
