TH ESPIANS On Thursday and Friday evening, December 17 and 18, 1965, the Thespians and high school Chorus Presented The Stingiest Man in Town, the first musical in Laurel High School since 1959. Tickets were almost completly sold out, and the play was said to be the best theatrical production in many years. The play, based on Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol , was set in the mid 1800's and necessitated authentic costumes and beautiful scenery, for which we are indebted to Mr. Foster and Mr. Progar. The field house was used in order to facilitate the use of the better lighting apparatus as well as to be able to accommodate such large audiences.
