The Mustangs hnished third in League play. Coach Wolfe stated that this year's team worked hard, played together, and exhibited good sportsmanship and desire at all times. Cross Country Sprints Through Season Coach Jack Wilkinson said his team lacked in depth and experience, 'tbut I always had a consistent effort and regular improvement from Kathy Springer, Andreas Hamann and Bill Bookout. Also Jefferson Mathis and Daniel Mathis showed steady improvement. I felt good teaching and traveling with my runners, the coach said.
