The functions of government were taught to his civics classes. In his other classes past happenings of the world were presented, discussed, and unfortunately, tested upon. Nlr. Scheidt also had a few people from the past enter his room and answer a few questions. These people were portrayed by the students of his classes. 1. lVlr. Wilkenson Teaches Many Classes -- gwxfrl ix, Q-r IVlr. Jack Wilkenson, who got his teaching credentials from FSU, had traveled to a few places, such as the Eastern United States and Jamaica. While in the Peace Corps, lvlr. Wilkenson taught for two years in Jamaica. I enjoyed traveling there and expedendng a changeX'he saw. Later Nlr. Wilkenson came to Laton to teach niath and coach cross country. When not teaching, lVlr. Wilkenson worked on his hobbies, which were running, wood working, table tennis and reading. 1.
