Renowned Guests Visit Nlr. Schiedt N l 4 , ' Y? -- ,.3fil- , , I ' y 5 ax- Mr. Donald Schiedt taught the social science classes this year. The functions of government were taught to his civics classes. In his other classes past happenings of the world were presented, discussed, and unfortunately, tested upon. Nlr. Scheidt also had a few people from the past enter his room and answer a few questions. These people were portrayed by the students of his classes. 1. Mr. Schiedt directs his attention toward Karen Avila's question. 2. Jamie Gillam and LeAnn Correia portray Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. 3. IVlr. Rooker Strives to Develop Logic Besides teaching, Nlr. Jacob Rooker had other thing which he enjoyed, which were his hobbies, hunting and nshing. lVlr. Rooker, who had been at Laton for nine years, was currently teaching woodshop and drivers' training. His goal in teaching was to see a vocational building program developed here at Laton. lVlr. Rooker, who obtained a degree in Industrial Arts from FSU, said that 50 Rooker 1 3 it was important for students to take his classes, tlbecause they interact with other students, develop logic in construction, and in later years the experience will benetit them. 1.
