JV Squad Too Small for Competition The coaching staff of the Laton wrestling teams was increased by one this year with the addition of lVlr, Richard Petersen. Coach Petersen's services were greatly appreciated in handling the difficult job of coaching two teams. The JV wrestling squad was comprised of seven men who molded together to form a solid team. Each individual was outstanding in his performances throughout the season. However the JV's were unable to supply team competition as they fell short of filling enough weight classes to win the championship. This hurt the JV's as some matches were lost before they took place. 1. Ted DeLaRosa uses a Half Nelson to overturn his competitor. 2. Robert Castaneda rolls his opponent moments before a pin.
