The sailors are driven To despair by Their rival's success and so They kidnap Barnabas and sTow him aboard The ship, carrying him To sea. Meanwhile Nance lVirginia Kuckenbakerl, is loved by Joe STouT ll-larley Adamsl. The bashful Joe induces Bill SalT lBiII UselTonl, To propose To Nance in his name. Bill promises To do so. buT unTorTunaTely he meeTs Julia TirsT and, Thinking her The obiecT of Joe's aTTecTions, proposes To her insTead.
