I n Dear Mr Mayvinnes, I, George Stewart, have just returned from a very interesting trip to Europe Perhaps I should tell you why I made this business trip I am a traveling salesman for the Double Bubble Company and am selling only one product, bubble gum I took three tons along with me like to of them When member the time he and said, 'Look at the window and saw trying to sell her was not interested While traveling I met a few people I thought you might know about It has been ten years since you have seen any I am referring to the Senior Class of 1950 I first started out I saw Ivan Hart Oh say, do you re looked out of the window in the History Class, that big rabbit out thereu9 he all looked out a little dog I was talking to his wife and some of my double bubble gum, And she said she she was angry at her husband, Ivan, because he came home from work, kissed the maid, and told his wife, Clarabell, to prepare his supper The next stop I made was at Paris I saw a big night club a ross the street from where I was staying The name of the place was Joe's Night Club So I went over that night and guess who the main entertainer was, it was H LUN PARSONS the gal with the ndanclnest feet this side the Atlantic Helen was too busy to even discuss bubble gum The next morning after I left I was driving long a very nice and well kept ranch Later on as I stopped in a small town, I was driving around sight seeing and saw a car drive up behind me The driver just seemed to lay on the horn Of course, I pulled over and who do you suppose I saw? It was no other person than JERRY HAWORTH, the owner of the nice big ranch He took me out to his blg goat ranch, and I stayed there all night and had a wonderful time We were having such a wonderful visit that I 1ust couldn't even discuss bubble gum After breakfast I left Jerry's place and drove on to another large town where I saw a huge stadium that was just packed with people Slowly I went over to see what was taking place I got there jlst a little early and decided to walk around to see about things and to try to sell a few piec s of gum I finally found out that a blg rod o was in progress and guess who the owner of it was none other than Dean Wright, the man who had brought the redeo to 'urope I talked to Dean for some time and he said he was making a lot of money and enjoyed the work and the people very much Dean did buv a N1cke1's worth of gum from me and said this reminded tim of good old Latham High I left Dean that night right after the rodeo and drove to the next town, which was in Italv and saw a nbeautifulu hotel I decided to stop for the night I went inside this fine looking hotel and rang a bell Here came the owner I could believe my eyes Dorothy RAMP was the owner and this hotel was one of the best in Europe Dorothy wasjust as jolly as ever and said she was feeling fine You remember how well Dorothy liked bubble gum Nell, here was my chance to make a big sale' Did I ever sell gum? She bought several basketfuls When actual weights were made, she had purchased one half ton The next morning I got up and ate breakfast with Dorothy, and then I left a d drove all morning without seeing anyone else that I knew At noon I stopped at a nice road house to eat I went in and ordered and got a real nice meal When I started to pay, I got a glimpse of the cook She was none other than JOYCE PROVINCE who us to go to Oklahoma to help her aunt cook during the summer I talked to Joyce for quite a while and Joyce said that she hadn't caught a man yet but she was stlll looking After I left Joyce that evening, I was driving along slowly and suddenly I came upon a huge constr tion camp The name of the firm was RRVWER'S BUST HIGHWAYS I d1dn't know, but I thought I would see if the person who owned it might be JOHN BREWPR Sure enough John was the owner of this construction company I talked . . . . Although I had all dxe time in the world, I started back to the good old U. S. A. with loads of bubble gum. I went to the harbor to see when I could catch a ship back home. There was one leaving that morning so I thought I would just stay around and start home. I sat around and watched the people. I saw a girl who I thought I knew and sure enough, there was PHYLLIS KNOX. I went over and started talking to her. She didn't seem to know me right off the start She was there with a nice looking young man and she introduced me to him as her husband who was the captain of the ship I was coming home on I stayed with Phyllis and her husband until the ship left After I boarded the ship I saw another person who gave me a great surorise It was ORLAND NHITc, the owner of the ship that I was coming home on Cork and I had a very enjoyable trip home Cork said he really is going to town with the ship and sure would like to get back to the U S A As ever, Class Will Z We, the graduating class of 1950 of Latham High School, have called you together upon this solemn and serious occasion to listen to our will and testament Ne desire to remember our friends at this time of our most grievious parting, do hereby, and now most graciously convey and voluntarily beoueath to them the following Dorothy Ramp, will my swimming suit to Jimmie Woodall Jerry Haworth, will my ability to draw pretty pictures to Harry Fasley Phyllis Knox, will my immense height to Cheryl Moore John Brewer, will my job as class reporter to any hard working junior that wants it Joyce Province, will my ability to get a man to Gayna Phillips Orland Nhite, will my quietness to Farnest Storey Dean Wright, will my ambition of getting in to meanness to Helen Parsons, will my ability to get a husband to Mary Lou Collins Ivan Hart, will my ability annoying the girls to Richard Oliver George St wart will my shorts with the brown ants on to use e Cole testimonv whereof we have hereunto set our hands this ninet enth day of Nay in the y ar nineteen hundred and fifty Seniors MEAN Anil? 0? nf cv., Auwwu, 021.A.Q.4,v,a Jn5RJb9V jBCo4Lh91l5! c9.L,aJ.4y.l1i iv,-1 34Wtv7 W N I, I .
