GODSPELL ADDS NEW DIMENSION TO PARABLES qAbove7 Debbie Edgreen, Cindy Husted and Lisa Gaus mournfully sing after the crucifi- xion. 1RightJ Melinda Stephens gets a hug from Jesus at the end of Day By Day. Godspell , a musical based on parables from the book of Matthew in the Bible, was presented by the music department last spring and summer. The musical showed the teachings of Jesus in skits and lively songs. Each performance was ended with a standing ovation. The cast included Fionnie Howell as Jesus, Greg Tarvin as Judas, and Joan Deeter, Joy French, Lisa Gaus, Melinda Stephens, Julie Olesky, George Paulsel, Denny Plummer, Tex Green, Mark Fulton, Cindy Hus- ted, Bobby Schuyler and Debbie Ed- green as disciples. iLeftl Melinda Stephens asks the musical question What is moble nowadays? iFtightl Ftonnie Howell, as Jesus, starts the musical off with a stirring soliloquy.
