E ICR K'VVe have only just begun. This is the theme with which the Class of l7l brought three years at Lansdowne Senior High to a close - the theme of their Senior Prom. They have done a lot in the three years since September, 1968, there will be many memories - some happy, some sad - and yet they uhave only just begun. Their first dance, A Pot of Coldf was the highlight of their Sopho- more year at Lansdowne. As Juniors, the Class of ,71 had a very successful year. They fought well and came through with a victory over their rivals, the Seniors, in the annual Iunior-Senior Basketball Came. On March 7th, they re- ceived their school rings. A dance followed to celebrate their feeling of achievement, The Junior Prom on May 2nd proved to be Some Enchanted Evening as they ended their year as Iuniors. I Beginning their year as Seniors, the Class of '71 presented Lans- downe with a showing of good leadership. Early in the year a group of Seniors visited Summit Nursing Home to entertain the aged for Hallo- ween. In December, they again came through with a victory over the Juniors of '72 in a basketball game. March brought a revised Strike-In with a cast of Seniors and faculty. This took the place of Senior Follies and was an enjoyable evening for everyone. Then May came, bringing with it an agenda that will be hard to forget. Senior Week provided a variety of activities, such as Senior Take-Over Day and Dress-Up Day. The Senior Prom, Ralela Hajimataf' created an atmosphere of sentimentality for the Class of l71. A Senior Trip was the final activity before graduation and their departure from their alma mater. m '5m Above: Chris Fridley sketches an amusing drawing while Kay Val- iant ancl Joyce Guess look on.
