PARE 5 IGHT This year not one, but two Parents' Nights were held here at Lansdowne. The basketball teams and their parents were honored on Ianuary 22, and the wrestlers and their parents were recog- nized on February 5. In both cases, the teams performed well and gave their parents and fans a night to remember. The junior Varsity basketball team thrilled the crowd with a good game, while Varsity rallied in the last few minutes to achieve their victory. The wrestlers, fans were treated to good matches by both squads. Varsity won four out of six of their matches, while Iunior Varsity bowed to another de- feat. AWARDS BAN QUET The 1970 Awards Banquet was held on June 5 at the Arbutus Fire Hall. The affair was sponsored by the G.A.A. and the Let- termenls Club and the guest speaker was Fred Carter of the Bal- timore Bullets. After the dinner the varsity and junior varsity teams received letters for their participation in sports. 5 i gp.
