CHORUSES The year 1971 was an extremely busy one for the choruses of Lansdowne. Mr. Dubbs, new to Lansdowne this year, made his debut as the choral director. His groups performed several shows at home and away. The Varsity Choir began the season with a Christmas Assemby Pro- gram. The Varsity Choir, the Concert Choir, and the Girls' Chorus then trav- eled to St. Maryis Seminary College Chapel for a special Christmas Concert. The Varsity Choir again teamed with the Concert Choir to provide the entertain- ment at the Mid-Winter Concert. The Girls, Chorus kept busy during the year by performing at St. Mary's College and for convalescent homes and hospitals around the area. It was a very proiitable year for music lovers in and around the Lansdowne area' The Varsity Choir performs during one of the several programs in which it participated in 1971. BAND it The band played an important part in the events that took place at Lans- downe this year. In school the band performed at football and basketball games. They played at special assem- blies, pep rallies, and at the Mid-Winter Concert. The band re- ceived the honor of performing at a Clipper hockey game.
