Acknowledgements Many hours of tedious work are involved in preparing a publication of this magnitude on board LANG with the limited facilities. Although many people contributed some time to this effort, both photographic and clerical, some inconvenienced themselves considerably to make this a success and, hopefully, in- teresting record of the latest deployment. They include: GMG2 Steve Melia, who for various reasons had the bulk of the lay-out and design of the entire cruise book, ETR3 Bill LeCompte spent many hours in LANG'S photographic darkroom , While contributing many of the actual photographs in the meantime, ETR2 Ken Anderson coordinated and arranged the photographic layout, .EMFN Dan Casaday got himself involved with the final lay-out and typ- ing prior to pu-blication.
