It is the responsib'iIiity of the members of the CLEAN-UP COMMITTEE to instill in Lane- ites the need for cleanliness in Lane and in their lhomes and communities. Aside from collecting and dilsbursing fu-nds, tlhe members of the Budget Committee also distri- bute the TECH PREPS and handle the finances of the ARROWHEAD. mits to the Chicago Association of Commerce and lndustry a booklet suimmariziiing its ac- tivities and containing original clean-up information, slogans, and posters. Members of LUFTOA who substitute for a late or absent teacher in. his first period class acquaint themselves with the career of teach- ing, The OWLS CLUB, a subdivision' of LUF- TOA, meets daily to lend a helping hand to students who have difficulty in understanding a subject. Through providing practical experi- ence, these clubs help undecided fu-ture tea- chers decfide in what pairticular field they are interested.
