Richard Koskela Hobbies Occupy Club Members Customizers and collectors alike gather at the MGDEL CAR CLUB meetings, where mem- bers discuss techniques used in customizing their models and talk about scale model kits new on the market. Work is advancing steadi- ly on the ll25 scale electric dragsitrip, 32 feet long, on which members will run their motor- ized bombs, The members will then be able to enter their cars in national competition. 250 A world of scaled replicas representing scenes found in the real world is created by the MODEL RAILROAD CLUB. Memlbers use the treasury funds to buy materials such as wire and scenery so that they can make a layout of a railroad yard or a stretch of country. Equip- ment that cannot be bought is donated by the members. Engines and c'ars are then brought to the meeting and are ru-n on the finished lay- out, which is called the Rolliing Stock Railroad After disassembling the layout, members make plans for a new one in which they incor- porate the old material.
