ACTIVITY SPONSORS Mr. Leonard Jaraczek, Cross Country Team, Track Team, Mr. Charles Siebert, Bowling Club, Bowling Teams, Traffic Engineers. lnstructing Laneites in the fundamentals of keeping healthy is the principle purpose at the PHYSICAL EDUCATION department. Stu- dents active in the physical fitness program participate in a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, softball, and football. The boys also perform calisthenics to increase their stamina and agility and build their strength. One period weekly is devoted to health classes which increase the students' knowledge of mental and physical hygiene.
