Electric Shop ln ELECTRIC SHOP, students gain praiotical knowledge about electricity through designi-ng and constructing electrical circuits. 'Fhese range from the simple series circuit to the complex parallel-series circuits. Some of the students make electric motors while others make ampere and volt meters. After the wiring of thie project is finished, the student com- pletes ia questionnaire which tests his know- ledge about the theory involved in his project. Wood Shops Increase Manual Dexterity Because the skills acquired in WOODSHOP are basically similar to those needed in the more complex shops, woodshop is required of each incoming freshman. The student learns the characteristics of a good Workman, skill, OPERATION of the bandsaw occupies all of Steve Stein's attention as he works on a wood- shop project. patience, and craftmanship, through building such projects as the tie rack, spice cabinet, and lamp.
