Laneites have the opportunity of choosing from a group of five languages: GERMAN, LATIN, POLISIH, RUSSIAN, and SPANISH. The Ian- guage clubs augment the work done in classes by informing students of the customs and lives of the people whose language they are studying. The construction of an electronic laboratory being planned for the near future will further increase the language depart- ment's resources with modern teaching aids.
