Mrs. Byrd and Mrs. Cass guided Peggy Booth, Marcia Books, Fayelee Byerly, Wanda Crozier, Lauanne Druckemiller, Dale Frauhiger, Paul Frauhiger, Don Faus, Diana Frauhiger, Mary Gerber, Helen Graft, Elaine Gerber, Maxine Gerber, Kay Grove, Sharon Carton, Betty Halter, Janet Hedges, Bob Hartman, Lila Hitzfield, John Isch, June Jines, Janice Julian, Judy Kahn, Ronald Kaehr, Allen Kruetzman, Kay Lydy, Donald Lake, Frank Morris, Larry Mankey, Mary Masterson, Steve Macon, Laura Mankey, Gilbert Mechling, Janice Myers, Bill Price, Kathryn Rupel, Gloria Reber, Janet Reed, Mary Richards, Nancy Strahm, Marvin Steffen, Gary Shady, Werden Sonnenberg, LaMoine Springer, David Thomp- son, Norman Thompson, Phyllis Wolf, Sandy Walker, Dean Williams, and Fred Yake. Tom Allen, Barry Graden, Fred Fogle- son, Robert Good, Francis Harris, Barbara Lindeman, Pat Vanover, David Young, Adell Shady, and Jesse McBride joined us. Helen Graft, Judy Kahn, and Donald Lake left. In the third grade Mrs. Yager and Mrs. Garrett directed us on. Sally Kahn, Don Brindle, Larry Easley, Tim Kaehr, Richard Markley, Kenny Stuff, and Tom Fox were new students. Wanda Crozier and Francis Harris left us. Our fourth year we were supervised by Mrs. French. Barry Graden and Gilbert Mechling left us. We gained Mari- lyn Dotterer, Arlen Gerber, and John Mitchell. Mrs. Bennett explained things to us the fifth year. Letha Durham entered Lancaster for the first year. We lost Richard Markley, Norma Millington, Marcia Books, David Young, and Elaine Gerber. After arriving back from vacation, we found Mr. Shady waiting to guide us. Judy Dailey, Mary Gilbert, Dan Graft, and Bob Wright joined the 6th graders. Letha Durham left and Mary Gilbert left us due to an accident. Dean Robinson, Elaine Gerber, Gene Shepherd, Becky Tarr joined us in our first junior high year. Pat Vanover, Bob Wright, Sandy Walker, Ronnie and Tim Kaehr, and Dean Robinson left at the end of the year. Class officers were Fayelee Byerly, President; Arlen Gerber, Vice-President; John Isch, Secretary; and Maxine Gerber, Treasurer. Raymond Booher, Judy Martin, Kathy Rauner, Carl Shane, Walter Sills, and Calvin Smeltzer were new students. Raymond Booher, Katie Rupel, Adell Shady, Carl Shane, and Norman Thompson left at the end of the year. Janice Julian, Maxine Gerber, Laura Mankey, Dean Williams, and Allen Kruetzman were our class officers. We had four short years left. We lost Calvin Smeltzer, Walter Sills, Wilson Shepherd, and Phyllis Wolf. Mrs. McKeefer was our class sponsor. John Isch, Elaine Gerber, Tom Fox, Diana Frauhiger, and Dan Graft were our class officers. Marilyn Dotterer, Sally Kahn, Don Brindle, and Kay Lydy left us. Officers that year were Maxine Gerber, Kay Lydy, Laura Mankey, Elaine Gerber, and Diana Frauhiger. Miss Sellers and Mr. Day were our new class sponsors for the tenth year. Our eleventh year Phyllis Cotton and Linda Henderson joined us; at Christmas, Linda Henderson left us. Maxine Gerber left at the end of the year. We entertained with the play, Everybody ' s Crazy. We chose the following of- ficers: Janet Hedges, President; Dan Graft, Vice-President; Mary Gerber, Secretary; Fayelee Byerly, Treasurer; and Allen Kruetzman, Student Council. We received our class rings during the earlier part of the year. Mrs. Gaiser and Mr. Biberstine appointed the Yearbook and Echo Staffs, too. The twelfth and final year we elected Janet Hedges, President; Allen Kruetzman, Vice-President; Mary Gerber, Secretary; Dan Graft, Treasurer; and Tom Fox, Student Council. Miss Sellers and Mr. Day are our class sponsors. We presented the senior class play, Be Happy? Go Wacky. We enjoyed a six day trip to Washington and New York. Baccalaureate and Commencement services were our highlights in our final year. Those taking part in the Bacca- laureate and Commencement exercises were: Tom Allen, Fayelee Byerly, Phyllis Cotton.
