Members Go to First State Band Composed of both music and non-music majors are the Lambuth College Concert and Jazz Bands. The Concert Band presented a winter concert in December and the annual spring concert after its return from band tour in May. Several of the concert band members participated in the first Tennessee All State Collegiate Bands at Dyersburg State Junior College and U.T. Knoxville. The jazz band performed at all the home basketball games. It also per- formed for the Jackson Merchandise Mart, and the Old Hictory Academy Beauty Pageant. Plans by the jazz band were made to go to Sheffield High School and St. James Methodist Church, as well as to perform with the con- cert band on Top: Trudy Anderson speaks with Sally Jo Carl before band starts.
