Fast Times At Lakewood High Although academic achievement was the primary goal of Lakewood High School, there seemed to be some moments left for having a great time. Special occasions such as Hallo- ween and St. Patrick's Day lent themselves to bringing out Lancer originality. Costumes from the sublime to the ridi- culous were worn by staff and students alike. Sometimes it was just the need to act a little crazy and take the tension off of rowin up in a fast-paced society. The fast times proved to ie the fun times, and they will not soon be forgotten. 1. MONICA WALKER gas s in shock at KIM WOODWARD'S costume. 2. DR. SHICKLER kicks baclls for a moment to tell one of his great jokes. 3. BRIAN FARBER gets as wet as his car. 4. Fast times were apparently not hard times for IOHN BERGENDAHL. 5. IIM CLEARY and Sl-IELLY DROWN take a fast trip into the stratosphere. 6. LISA EDWARDS gets a helping hand with her CITADEL project. 7. CINDY MATHEWSON, SAN- DRA PAYTON, ROBIN PEAVY and CYNDEE WILDT celebrate Halloween by wearin imaginative costumes. 8. MRS.
