Day of the Lancers Getting up was never easy, especially since a day in the life of a Lancer began at 7:58 a.m. Fortunately, that usually meant that snack came a little earlier too. While many Lancers gathered to gossip at nutrition, others concen- trated on getting last-minute answers for a government exam. Many Lakewood students spent part of their day at one of the many offerings in the Regional Occupational Programg they learned diverse skills that ranged from horti- culture to bicycle repair. Lunch was a favorite part of the day for almost everyone. After school came homework, a job for some or a little time to spend relaxing and enjoying the company of friends. 1. TERRANCE SAM gets the answer from MISS HUMMER. 2. TAMMY LEWIS orders her hot fudge sundae, while STEVE IOHNSON ponders the menu. 3. A personal stereo provides a pleasant break in the school day for HEATHER YEE. 4. All of the fancy autos come to the Bubble Machine to 'et gas from HEATHER CRONE. 5. TODD HERMAN has a sweet tooth for lllavored popcorn. 6. PAT BENKO spends some free time perfecting his bowling game. 7. A moment at snack is used by ROBERT YI to study for a physics test. 8. HEATHER CLISBY, CHRIS MARTIN and ROBIN RIBAYA attract quite a lunchtime crowd. 3 18 Day of the Lancers U r X J r M 1 - P V , L,:,.'
