The efficient and timely office work and the facilities offered the students through the school store have been most com- mendable. The Work of the kitchen staff in co- operation with the dietician and the Work taking place in the infirmary would be worthy of praise in the finest institution. K THE CLASS PROPHECY Dear Mr. Strong: I have just received a reply to the letter I sent to the Missing Persons Bureau asking the whereabouts of Lakeside's 1953 class and I am now forwarding its content to you. GLOOMY IOHN TROMMALD has become a bit actor in the movies, playing comedy roles, and actually has smiled. DA VE CORREA is now in the used car business in Upper Tasmania and is still trying to give his cars to anyone who will tow them away. IOHN CALVERT has devoted his life to perfecting a process for removing the neutral spirits from Lord Calvert Reserve. FRED LONG has perfected a new type of automobile which is run by a wrist watch spring and a complicated series of gears from AL GREEN'S We Grindem Cog and Gear Company, chief producers of gears for jet propelled kiddie cars. PETE MOR- BECK, now in the lumber business, lost two fingers while cutting blanks for IOE IULSON'S Paddle Com- pany, only suppliers of ironwood paddles for fraternity initiations. BOB BAKER, world famous chemist, has recently emerged from his laboratory, for the first time in five years, to announce his discovery of a new drug for the cure of the disease he recently invented. IOHN CURZON has just become president of the Holden Steamshovel Company, producers of the gear propelled shovels used in the Holden mines. DON SMITH recently merged his business with DICK SM1TH'S and the two will now produce Smith's Elixer, a high grade hang-over preventive. MAC HUFF, F.B.I. investigator, captured several members of a notorious car theft ring after they stole his six Cadillacs, LARRY KANGLEY is making money hand over fist by stretching Crosleys and selling them as Rolls Royces. SIGURD NORMANN has finished the sequel to lim Bailey's Pulitzer Prize winning novel, Anniglook, Eskimo Girl, entitled Onniglook's First Love, and it is said that Sigurd's mind snapped after spending eighteen years writing his treatise on Parental Qualities of the Common Houseflyf' Dr. BILL FRIEND has saved the life of professional football star BOB MAN- LOWE who forgot to let go of the ball and threw himself over the goalposts. FRED COLLINS is chief assistant money counter to CLARK HENRY at Money Storehouse No. 6 of the WARREN HEATHMAN- IUDSON PARSONS Snowshoe Factory. IOHN MIFFLIN is now their chief salesman and is presently work- ing on a project to sell snowshoes to South Sea Islanders. HAROLD HELLIESEN has gone into the lumber import business and is supplying the ironwood for M orbeck's paddle blanks. BOB PETTIT was last seen on his way to visit Bob Baker at his lab, but has never returned from the dismal depths. DICK HALL and BARKY HERMAN have started a date bureau which has not been very successful, the reason: they have been dating too many girls themselves and are never at the office to answer calls. PETER DENMAN and BILL BRADY were recently arrested for locking the congregation in their church and then proceeding to de- liver a thirteen hour sermon on the evils of evil. CHUCK ADAMS has finally quit pro basketball and is planning to retire after his twenty year career with the famous Briggs Oilers team which is sponsored by oil tycoon MIKE BRIGGS who struck oil while shoveling away the debris that had accumulated during one of his wordy speeches about nothing. PETE HANKE is making dual exhaust systems for FINN LEPSOE'S latest line of luxurious cabin cruisers which he will sell only to South Sea Islanders who are wearing snow- shoes. IACK PANKRATZ who has been a producer at M.G.M. for the past several years is now producing a great romance picture which will star a certain Gloomy. Recent reports have it that WAKE ANDER- SON, the salmon king, was chased from his home by a stray bear from CHARLES DA VIS' circus which is staging a three week run at Sitka while on its Alaska tour.
