NEILL WAKEFIELD ANDERSEN CLARK HENRY Coming from Spokane in his funior year, Clark was quickly recognized by his classmates for his abilities. A Brownell, he has participated not only in club baseball, basketball and football, but also fencing and rifle. As a senior his class and club saw fit to elect him as their sergeant-at-arms, realizing that he would fill the post capably. CHARLES ADAMS Although his name has been on both the Honor Roll and the Gold Star several times during the six years he has been at Lakeside, Chuck is best known for his athletic abilities, winning letters three years in football and basketball, and four years in baseball. He served as co-captain of the basketball team in his senior year. Chuck was also Sergeant-at-Arms of his freshman class, a member of the Senate and the Athletic Council for one year, and this year was President of the Big L Club. Wake hailing rom Sitka Alaska came to Lakeside in his freshman year as a day student. He was very active in athletics as he played club football, baseball and basketball. He also played varsity basketball his junior year. Wake was an avid ski supporter at Lakeside throughout his stay. ROBERT BAKER During his two year visit from Spokane, Bob, a constant Honor Roll member and Gold Star winner, has proven to be one of the best Lakeside students. In his senior year, Bob was elected secretary-treasurer of the Parsons Club. He also participated in Parson basketball and golf as well as the Drama Club, Band and Boy Scouts besides working on the NUMIDIAN and TATLER staffs. Eight

IOHN TROMMALD fohn entered Lakeside in his junior year from Lincoln High in Portland. He is President of this year's class and a two-year Senate member. He was editor of the TATLER for a short while this year and is on the editorial staff of the NUMIDIAN. Drama Club, Brownell Baseball, Board of Strategy, Golf and Rifle round out Iohn's activities as a Lakeside boarder. PETER HANKE Pete came to Lakeside in 1948 as an eighth grader. He did not return to Lakeside for his freshman year but re-entered as a sopho- more. Pete had the smoothest car on the campus, a '51 Ford con- vertible. He was active in athletics, playing club football, basketball and track. Studying earnestly kept Pete from varsity athletics his senior year, but he managed to turn out for varsity football his junior year. Pete's sophomore year was his best scholastically, as he earned four Gold Stars and was on the Honor Roll. He served in student government as Vice President of the Senior Class and as a senator for two years. He played the main role in Command Decision. FINN LEPSOE Finn has been a Lakesider since the seventh grade and in this time has been Freshman Class president, Senior class treasurer, Sen- ate member, vice president of the Ski Club, and on the NUMIDIAN staff. A Whitcomb, he played basketball, baseball, and tennis. Finn has been a frequent Honor Roll member and a Gold Star winner. JOHN PANKRATZ A Lakesider since his sophomore year, lack quickly fitted into the life of the school. He has been the yell squad leader, a Lincoln Forum winner, sports editor of the TATLER, business manager of the NUMIDIAN, senior class secretary, and a member of the Drama Club. Besides this, lack has been awarded the Presidenfs Medal and the Silver Star as well as the Gold Star for three years and mention on the Honor Roll for two. Seven

WILLIAM L. BRADY When half-time entertainment was needed at basketball games, Brady's sword would be there skillfully manipulated to test some elusive opponent. As well as fencing, Bill was active in club base- ball and rifle. Although he enrolled in mid-semester of '52, Brady soon earned a scholastic name for himself, and more than .once Mr. Bleakney found it difficult to be victorious in some learned argu- ment. l MICHAEL A. BRIGGS Mike entered Lakeside in the fall of '49 with a television set and a machine of his own ingenuity that automatically speaks meliferous praise of Wenatchee. He leaves Lakeside with a record of activities-member of the Drama Club, Ski Club, Dormitory Council, Outing Club, a reporter for the TATLER and writer for the NUMIDIAN. He was a further asset to the Brownell Club in football, basketball, and track and played varsity basketball in his senior year. But Mike was not one to sacrifice studies for activities as his name frequently appeared on the Honor Roll and the Gold Star. JOHN STEWART CALVERT In his six years at Lakeside, johnny has become well known both scholastically and athletically, as can be shown by his record of three years on the Gold Star, one year on the Honor Roll, two football letters, and three baseball letters. Iohnny has also been active in student government, in which he was vice-president of his freshman class, president of his sophomore and junior class, and three years a member of the Senate. FRED B. COLLINS Fred, the ingenious wit of the class, came to Lakeside in his freshman year. Being especially capable with a tennis racket, he has been top man on the tennis team for the past two years. In addition to being active on this and last year's basketball squads, Fred also served on the Senate inlhis senior year. Nine
