Because of the members' ool-oriented interests, they have helped Lakeside by such ivities as selling football programs at all home games and rchasing two American flags. During the fall, new members were inducted in a formal ceremony. Beta Club members carried lunch trays for donations to the Arthritis Foundation. The class met for one period each day to work , Q53 i.:s 5... '- on lay-out design, copy-writing, editing, advertising, mer- T Qifff chandising, and photography. The student were divided in to groups that worked on the academic, activities and 5, .ff'1l7 fQ ' organizations, sports, advertisement, and photography sections of the yearbook. Each group was required to complete its own section to meet necessary deadlines. , ' Often times, being a member of the yearbook staff meant .,i jg A hurrying to meet deadlines and working outside of class 1 to complete a section.
