During the fall, new members were inducted in a formal ceremony. Beta Club members carried lunch trays for donations to the Arthritis Foundation. The members have a common goal of serving the student body, while at the same time, helping students to realize the seri- ous nature of organizing and maintaining school ac- tivities, rules, and regulations. In addition to serving the students, the council sponsored the following activities: Football and Bas- ketball Homecomings, fall and spring dances, a homecoming sign contest, a grocery raffle, a magic show, and a Christmas tree ornament display. upper left - SC advertises for the magic show which they spon- sored as a money-making project. middle right- Tamra Bowlin and Bryan Sligh show spirit on Far- mer!Zap Day as they prepare for homecoming ceremonies. Because of the members' ool-oriented interests, they have helped Lakeside by such ivities as selling football programs at all home games and rchasing two American flags.
