How many Lakeside Seniors know the last verse of the National Anthem? At least four - The delegates to gir1's state and boy's state. The last verse of The Star Spangled Banner, is only one of the things they learn during their week stay. The delegates make up fictitious cities and counties and all combined - they make up a state. They carry on all the elections that a city, county, and state would have - Boy's State FX 1 .jj K .45 1455,-1f,,'i-gjfff-- V ' ' ? They practice for countless hours in learning and perfecting routines. These are just a few of the ways they show that they believe in the Rams and that they believe in the Rams .all the way. To begin this year, they attended camp and won several outstanding recognitions as a drill team. For ex- ample, they won the overall Sweep- stakes Trophy, first place for their exhibition routine, and the Spirit Pom. During the school season they raised money by having car washes, performed at football and basket- ball games, performed at pep as- semblies, did special routines during Homecoming ceremonies, and marched in the Christmas, County, and Homecoming parades. It is evident that the Golddusters worked hard to become one of the best high school drill teams. Lake- side's Golddusters are proud of the Rams, and the Rams in return, are proud of the Golddusters.
