I, Mary Scucchi, will my correspondence courses to any Junior who needs them. I, Sue Seale, will my height to my cousin, Wilson Bynum. I, Dave Sharp, will my ability to go 60 miles per hour down Main Street to anyone who thinks he won't get caught. I, Doyne Smith, will my hair problem to Pat McAffrej. I, Jim Smith, will part of my harem to Jimmy Jackson. I, Mary Tanner, will my small figure to Sharon Tanner and Jo Ann Lamb. I, Ritta Tate, will my job at Morgan and Lindsey to anyone who wants to work there. l, Lana Townsel, will my broad shoulders to Howard Mathis. I, Connie Turner will my 90 pounds to anyone who has to go on a diet. I, Raymond Warren, will my hair problem to Johnny Chandler. I, Harold Woods, will my ability to get in trouble in bookkeeping to Bruce Dalton. PROPHECY The time is 19705 the place is Al's Restaurant, Lake Village, Arkansas. Lakeside's class of 1960 is having its tenth annual reunion. As we listen the alumni are discussing their present professions: Nancy Avery and Alice Donham have achieved their life -time ambition. They are missionary nurses and are unable to attend the class reunion because at the present time they are stationed in the wilds of Africa. Tony Bariola is running the world famous Bariola Landing. He specializes in all kinds of fish and guaran tees you'll catch your limit every time. Wanda Bell and Harold Woods are now furthering their education at Montrose A Sc M. They are two of the top students out of the five that attend. Louise Bennett is running Bennett's training camp for lady wrestlers. She is well known tor the roughest wrestlers in the business. She says she owes all her success to fighting her way to the head of the lunch line. Page 61

I, Louise Bennett, will my position on the football team to my sister, Kaye. We, Lois Brosette and Pat Carpenter, aren't going to will anything because we need all we've got. I, Carol Burge, will my quietness to Cissy Vencill. I, Mary Eva Bunker, will my natural black hair to Sharon Tanner. l, Don Callaway, will my ability to worry about unimportant things to Don Alpe. We, David Carlton and Tommy Dabney, can't afford to will anything because we might be here next year. l, George Carlton, will my title of Bandit to Ronnie McCaskill. l, Tena Cantley, will all my Boydell boy friends to Jo Ann Lamb. I, Patsy Catalani, will my great golden record See My Senior Ring, Girls to Sarah Bunker and Scooter McGehee. I, Craig Chotard, will my ability to understand French to anyone who can't. I, Sylvia Cingolani, will my locker in the boys' area to Pat Mazzanti. We, Carolyn Coalter and Barbara Smith, will our ability to listen in class to Kaye Bennett. I, Prissy Donham, will my name of Alice to Prissy Jenkins. I, Joe Garza, will my nickname Speedy to Hogie Bledsoe. J, Peggy Gilliam, will my sixteen gauge shotgun to anyone who can shoot it without being kicked down. I, Elise Godsey, will the cadets to all the girls at Lakeside who are interested. I, Tommy Gorden, will my weight to Robert Marks. I, John Hackett, will my ability to get along with the school to Raymond Pieroni. We, Bill Hawkins and Charles McHan, will our ability to make All -State to Ronnie Clary and Ronnie McCaskill. l, Helen Hemphill, will the path from Lake Village to the Air Force Base to any girl not going steady. I, Frank Hester, will my truck to Margaret Hawkins because she is the only one who thinks it is any good. I, Kathleen Hoggard will my ability to sit by two different boys in homecoming to anyone who walks next year. I, Taylor Hurst, will my ability to grow hair on my chest to Don Alpe and Bobby J ackson. I, Ray Fitch, will my ability to carry the bass horn to Bobby Bradshaw. I, Ben Floriani, will my ability to kill deer to Raymond Pieroni. I, Jo Ann Jennings, will my love of horses to Diane Gillison. Anna Buffington is the world famed soprano. Her latest success was singing in Carnegie Hall. Mary Eva Bunker has now become head girl cheerleader at the University of Arkansas after ten years of trying out. We are proud of Memo for her accomplishment. Carol Burge has joined her father in the L. V. Infirmary as head nurse. As yet she hasn't gone into the operating room. Don Callaway now has a dude ranch known as Callaway's Corral. By the way, it is for women only. Tena Cantley is famous for her long hair. It is now as long as she is tall. David Carlton is the recruiting officer in the Naval Reserve. Here is a bit of advice. . .don't join the Naval Reserve. George Reed Carlton, last time we heard from him, was in a space ship on his way to the moon. Good Luck, George! Patricia Carpenter has opened a school for giggly girls. She got her beginning in study hall at Lakeside. Patsy Catalani has become a speech teacher at Lakeside. l hear the students can't understand her lingo. Craig Chotard now has his own band called Craig's Cats. He really swings on his trumpet. All the cats agree he is a swinging daddy -o. Sylvia Cingolani is now head waitress at Embers in Memphis. She says she owes all she knows to loe's Grill. Carolyn Coalter is head English professor at the University of Arkansas. She says she owes her success to Mrs. Mansur. Tommy Dabney has just made a new movie called Lover Boy . I am sure all his High School classmates of 1959-60 are dying to see it. Ray Fitch, we hear, is one of Craig's Cats. He is still playing the tuba. Ben Floriani is now star fullback for the Greenbay Packers. Ben says all the credit goes to Coach Clary and Coach Dingler. Joe Garza now has his own chain of gas stations from coast to coast. They are known as Garza's Gas-Up. Peggy Gilliam and Lois Brosette have formed a girls' professional football team. Their latest victory was against the Baltimore Colts. Elise Godsey is now the first woman Cadet in history. She is now at Big Thunder A.F. B. as a test pilot. Tommy Gorden has become rich from his new type TV. They are sold all over the world. Tommy, while at Lakeside, worked as a TV repair man. John Hackett is one of the top comedians in the country. His classmates always knew Ole John was a natural. Billy Hawkins is one of the top game hunters in the world. Last seen he was riding an elephant through the jungle. Connie Turner is now the number one housewife in the nation. Lana Townsel is the star on the Grand Ole Opera.
