Michelle Gunderson (left) and Kim Mitchell (right) were two additions made to the eighth grade class during the 1983-84 term. Eighth Graders Move On Together Having made the adjustment to Junior High, the Class of 1988 was able to enjoy a year of activity and work. Besides the usual eighth grade activities, sev- eral students played in varsity band and some of the boys played on the B basketball team. These ac- tivities supplemented the daily fare of American History, Science, Math, English and Physical Edu- cation. At the end of the year, as they prepared to move on to become freshmen, the American Legion recognized Micheal Anderson and Vickie Anderson with citizenship awards. On May 20,1984 they took part in their first graduation ceremony as they moved on to become Senior High School students.
