First Graders; Bonnie Ellingson and Ricky Holland. Seniors tear off Comic strip paper from float. Another year of memories take their place in our minds. No one ever forgets the time, effort, and excitement packed all to- gether in one small week during Homecoming. Theme for this year was Comic Strips. All classes constructed floats from horse trailers and old flat beds. Coronation has always been one of the special events during the hectic week. Following coronation was the traditional pep rally and burning of the D . A watermelon bust was sponsored by the FFA afterwards. On the final day rainy weather couldn't hold down the spirit and excitement for the parade and oncom- ing game. Although the DeSmet bulldogs received a victory from us, everybody managed to have a good time! Freshman attendants: LETT FRONT, Sheila Gottsleben; LEFT BACK, Kevin Rydbon; Junior attendants: CENTER FRONT, Brenda Woodcock; CENTER BACK, Jerome Nelson; Sophomore at- tendants: RIGHT FRONT, Dawn Holland; RIGHT BACK, Jerome Woodcock. 27
