The 1950-51 Basketball team had eight lettermen returning to form the nuc- leus for Coach Bill Tldmareh's first year at the helm. An auspicious start for a successful season was made In the 55-35 victory over a strong Thomas team. The team continued to show marked Improvement each game because of their fine team spirit and all around team play. The Divers won the Consolation trophy at the Conference Tournament and placed second In the E. C. Conference with a 10-2 record. Lake Preston defeated every team In the conference at least once. The Preston tesim's reserve strength was oalled upon frequently and accounted for a strong Divers squad.
