Although on paper the football season did not look very good, we are sure that everyone who has seen any of the five games will agree that as a whole It was a great success. There was much good sportsmanship and hard work on the part of the players and Coach Tldmarsh. This was the first year of 11 man football, and It showed great promises of being well-liked by both the players and the spectators. The Divers played very good the first four games and came through with a superb performance while spoiling the homecoming for Clear Lake. The Divers showed steady improvement even after the 1os8 of two veteran linemen during the season, and came througn with a well-earned victory over Clear Lake at their Homecoming. Arlington defeatei us at our Home- coming but we made it one of the Cardinal's toughest games of the year. The highlight of our 7-0 loss to Dell Rapids was the electrical storm wherein two players were struck by lightening. L. L. L. L. L.
