The 1985 football team ended with a 7-3 record. The Parkers took first place in the Agassiz Valley South Conference and third place in the overall Agassiz Valley Conference behind Norman County West Cwhich finished second in the statel and Twin Valley. In the section VI semi-finals Lake Park lost to Norman County West. Lake Park had three All Conference players: Don Jacobs, Jeff Korell, and Tony Korell. At the fall athletic banquet the following football awards were presented: Most Valuable Player - Don Jacobs, Most Improved - Darwin Erickson, Best Sportsman - Shannon Mortenson, Best Offensive Receiver - Jeff Brown, Best Defensive Back - Jeff Korell, Best Offensive Back - Tony Korell, Best Offensive Lineman - Kelly Myers, Best Defensive Lineman - Brad Kommer.
