Superintendent of Schools Mr. Lawrence Fish, Chairman Mr. John Peterson, Mr. Hull Dolson, Mr. Clifford Powers. Mr. Virgil Solso, Dr. Richard O'Shea. BOARD OF DIRECTORS The School Board is probably the most important organization that stands behind our school. It is responsible for the policies that are carried out not only in the high school, but also in the grade schools and junior high school. The School Board is the organization which delegates what our administration does. Each member of the Board serves five years as a community service. A prime interest of the School Board now is the construction of more buildings at LOHS, which will provide for the great number of students that we have now and those who will be com ingin the next few years. Special thanks go to these men who have given their time to make our education more complete PTA The P. T. A. headed by President Robert Oslund works with the parents by grade level. By this means, the specific problems and achievements of that particular grade level can be discussed. One of the main meetings featured this year was Back to School Night when all the parents had a chance to meet the teachers and to discuss the school program. LAKERS’ DADS CLUB In the educational field, the Lakers' Dads Club sponsors the Scholarship Dance. The money obtained from this dance is used for scholarships received by LOHS seniors. The Dads Club, this year led by President Stanley Stearns, also helps out the athletic department both by their interest in our sports events and by their financial support. 9
