Leta Glancy member Mr. Don Biehn ' Mr. Douglas Swan Mr George Fleet member member member 1 -3 gf The 1973-1974 school year has seen Lake Havasu High School continue to grow and expand, both aca- demically and physically. Many new courses have been introduced into our curriculum. The completion of the new facilities has given the Drama area a place to produce excellent dramatic programs. The Music area is now housed in a facility worthy of their fine efforts. Our Athletic competition has brought increased prestige and honor to our school. Problems were solved and new ideas were introducted. For these reasons and many more, this year has been one of great success for Lake Havasu High School. To all returning students, Iwish continued personal achievement at Lake Havasu High School. To the George A. Goldey Principal class of '74, I extend best wishes for success in the future. During the course of four years, we have seen land partici- pated inl many activities and won many spirit sticks. As Freshmen, there were 151 of us, and as Seniors, there are 175. Only 74 of the original class graduate from LH HS. In our Freshmen year, we participated in Homecoming and Christmas activities. Girls were allowed to start wearing pants. As Sophomores, we saw the LHHS Varsity basketball team take Class B State Championship. The dress code was completely changed. When we were Juniors, we watched Lake Havasu High School move up to a Class A School. The prom was successfully held at the new Ramada Inn. As seniors, we are the fifth graduating class of LHHS and the first class to graduate in the new auditorium. We are also the first graduating class to utilize the new facilities. We sponsored a great Homecoming, and won the Best Depicts the Theme, award at the car rally. The first Christmas Ball was held this past year, and Seniors were in charge of the band. We also saw LHHS's first wrestling team go to state. -5 ,J , 21 if ' . ,,g,f,, V , Debbie Carson: Treasurer lst. Sem.
